2025–2026 JTIP Board

Mark Elinski is the Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. With an engineering background from before law school, he is primarily interested in intellectual property litigation. Mark was in the marching band at Michigan State and continues to perform with a community concert band in Chicago.

Aswini Melekote is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. They are interested in big law litigation. Aswini loves horror books and is learning how to DJ.

Alyssa Pequignot is a Managing Articles Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She is interested in life sciences intellectual property litigation. Alyssa is a huge Boston sports fan and worked at both Fenway Park and TD Garden prior to attending law school. She also loves to go on long walks and bike the lakefront path.

Sahana Narayanan is a Managing Articles Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She is a JD/MBA student at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management. Sahana used to be a professional jazz singer.

Julius Chai is a Managing Executive Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. He is interested in patent prosecution and litigation. Julius loves to travel and has been to France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, China, and Canada.

Mack Krell is a Managing Executive Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. He is interested in technology and intellectual property transactions. Mack enjoys baking, playing basketball, and traveling.

Li Guan is the Managing Notes Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She is interested in transactional law. Li earned a doctoral degree before law school and enjoys swimming, photography, and traveling in her free time.

Keegan Sullivan is the Production Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. He is interested in intellectual property transactional practice and has an academic interest in historical analogues for copyright protection in Ancient Greece. Keegan is an avid home cook, former college athlete, and active cat and kitten foster for the Catcade.

Jess Trost is the Executive Online Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She is interested in general transactional law and technology transactions. Jess is an open-water swimmer and triathlete and enjoys bullet journaling.

Patrizia Mariano is the Symposium Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She is interested in labor and employment defense litigation. Patrizia is a professional home cook and avid indoor and outdoor cyclist.
